Interstice examines the space between opposing forces. The interplay of dark and light surfaces creates a visual dialogue about balance, connection, and transformation. The work draws attention to the subtle threshold where distinct elements meet and coexist. Hand-built in stoneware using the coil method and fired in oxidation, the piece emphasizes the relationship between material presence, surface, and form.
